Reverse vs. upside-down vs. mirrored
Reverse simply flips the character order (so 'hello' becomes 'olleh'). Upside-down also rotates each letter 180° using Unicode counterparts. A true mirror image (left-right flip) isn't possible in plain text — most letters don't have a horizontally-flipped Unicode equivalent.

Pop culture made the backwards B a recognizable visual — it shows up in usernames and album art constantly. The character we use here is U+0411, the Cyrillic capital Be (Б), which sits just left of its Latin twin in any font that covers Cyrillic.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does reversed text break right-to-left languages?
It can. Mixing reversed Latin with naturally right-to-left scripts (Arabic, Hebrew) confuses the bidirectional rendering algorithm. Use it for novelty, not real bilingual content.
